Due to dynamic growth experienced in its first five years of operation, Non-Stop required more studio time than was available from local recording studios. In 1985, they acquired a 25,000 square foot, state-of-the-art studio built by world-renowned Los Angeles designer Tom Hidley of Westlake Audio. Since its opening, L.A. East Studios has earned a reputation as one of the premier recording facilities for the motion picture, broadcast and advertising industries.
Built in an 1898 renovated brick church, Non-Stop's L.A. East Studio houses the corporate offices and supports four separate studio spaces and a state-of-the-art digital-editing bay. The largest space, "the chapel," offers a 3,500 square foot scoring stage with excellent acoustics that seats a 90-piece orchestra. The smaller studios can seat 45 musicians.
